Here’s a lil’ bit about me…

My Story

I grew up in a military and aviation family and started working in aviation in 2016. I love to fly and wants to help you reach the ideal altitude for your life. Growing up all over the country, I learned how to make adjustments and to shift my perspective when my life hit turbulence. My resiliency throughout life has been tested so many times, from my parents’ divorce when I was 5, a stint in foster care, growing up with my dedicated dad and step-mother, and then becoming the first college graduate in my family.

I have been married to my college sweetheart, Mike, since 1985, and we have three wonderful, successful sons and a lovely daughter-in-law. I have an extensive business and education background after working in international sales and marketing (yes, I’m fluent in Spanish) and teaching at various universities. Mike is a serial entrepreneur, and I’ve worked with him in several ventures. Those experiences have allowed me to teach many aspiring business owners how to start and operate small businesses as a counselor at Small Business Development Centers.

My Values & Beliefs



My faith in Jesus Christ.

Nothing matters more in the world to me than following my Savior Jesus Christ. He is my Rock and the One who guides my everyday life.

So, do I only work with Christians? No. I work with people from all walks of life and belief systems. It’s important for me to be upfront with my world view. Will I ‘preach’ to you? Absolutely not.



Courage

The Bible talks about faith is being certain of what we hope for and that having the courage to follow the path of God is all the courage we need in this life.



Honesty with myself and others

I know I’m not perfect – no one is. What I know more than that is God isn’t done working on me yet. The more honest I am with what God wants to see in my life, the closer I’m able to follow His ways, not my own ways.



Family

I’ve been blessed with a wonderful husband, three sons, and a daughter-in-law, along with my parents who are still with us, and brother and sister-in-law and nieces. While we are very diverse, we all love each other unconditionally.



Fun

Living in Colorado gives us many opportunities for fun. It’s so important to make time to enjoy the beauty that surrounds us and to spend time with the people who love us, friends, and family. You can find us hiking, cycling, playing golf, playing Pictionary, cooking, and traveling.

What Makes Me a Good Coach

In a word: love. I love people and I love helping people become their best. We all have purpose, potential, and passion. I walk alongside you to help align you with your dreams, calling, and goals. I am compassionate – I’ve been through some deep waters that taught me profound life lessons.

I am supportive – I won’t give you advice, but I will be an accountability partner. I aim to be a good listener – I’m not your therapist, but I am a facilitator to ask powerful questions so we can explore new territory together to find the best route. At every stage of this journey, I will be there to equip, empower, and encourage you.
